In the movie "A Fierce Green Fire" it shows the change of the environment from the 1950's to now. The biggest point of the movie was showing how before all of the health and safety regulations the world was a more unhealthy and unsafe place. The movie shows how much pollution was going up into the air which was creating a huge amount of smog and how the government really wasn't doing much to regulate it until President Nixon signed agreements to keep national parks, create smog regulations, and save endangered species. The movie focused on the people of the Greenpeace group who were trying to save whales and other marine life, it showed that a small group can turn into a big organization in no time by publicity and a very bold statement. The Greenpeace group has succeded in stopping whaling in many countries and has saved the life of many whales. The main point in the movie was to show the progress on us protecting the environment and showing the effects on global warming.
